To the uninitiated, ISO 9001 certification may be considered a vital marketing tool exclusively for promoting exports. In fact, the ISO 9001 requirement is as valid for the domestic customer as it is for the overseas clientele. What is important for each customer is the assurance that the products and services being offered are in accordance with predetermined quality standards. This new award reflects our commitment to safeguard and improve the environment, through international safety and environmental standards. Being a responsible corporate citizen striving for the improvement in our environment, both within and outside the company , Hinopak Motors Limited has voluntarily ISO 14001 Certification. ISO 14001 pertains to monitoring and managing the effect, which any business has on the environment.

Quality Policy

Integrated Management Systems

The Integrated Management System (IMS) have been developed against the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 Standards, legal and other regulatory requirements. It covers all the main elements of both the standards.

Another purpose of this manual is to notify our customer, dealers and other interested parties about our continual improvement progress towards environmental conversation and workplace safety standards.

It provides the framework to enable safety, health and environmental (HSE) risks to be understood, and mitigation measures developed, implemented and appropriately managed. Collectively, the IMS will assist the company and its operations to comply with relevant legal requirements, the IMS Standards and other obligations in a systematic and structured framework. The IMS constitutes a flexible management approach that can readily accommodate the changing needs of HPML and its operations.

The requirements of the Integrated Management Systems is described in this Manual and supporting procedures and plans. The system is developed in a manner that is commensurate with available resources and the nature of the activities being conducted, and in context of the external and internal factors that affect and influence the company. It is periodically updated to ensure that it remains responsive to changing environment, Safety and health Management needs, taking into considering the needs and expectations of the stakeholders

Leadership:

Top management demonstrate their commitment towards the effective implementation of Integrated Management Systems by ensuring availability of resources essential for its establishment and maintenance. It is their obligation to ensure that the system is synchronize along with business processes and HML requirements.

They review the system at specific intervals to ensure the continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the system.

Communication

Hinopak has established and developed internal/ external communication system to ensure that the employees are well aware of the purpose of complying with IMS policy, procedures and values of achieving objectives & targets. HSE in consultation with departmental heads communicate information regarding both Safety and EMS processes and their effectiveness through trainings, memos, corrective/preventive processes, and regular formal and informal communication HSE dept. handle communication related to legal and other requirements. This includes correspondence with different legislative agencies and interested parties on regular basis. Responses of all these communications are sent on timely basis.

The dept. is also responsible for handling and investigating all kinds of environmental and Workplace Safety related complaints and is responsible for complaint communication to interested parties.
HSE Dept. is overall responsible for internal and external communications to employees and interested parties on regular basis.

Internal Audit

Hinopak assesses the performance and continuing effectiveness of the Integrated Management System through audits. Established process by which the IMS can be continually improved by reducing significance environmental impacts and Safety risks, & ascertain whether the IMS conforms to plan arrangements, including requirements of the standards.

Audits are conducted to evaluate compliance with legal & other requirements, conformance with policy, standards, IMS documents and other requirements of the Integrated Management System.
